My Approach
As a mental health Nurse Practitioner, I approach treating my patients with a holistic and patient-centered mindset. I begin by conducting a thorough assessment, which includes understanding your medical history, current symptoms, and any underlying factors affecting your mental health. This involves active listening and creating a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental space for the patient to share their experiences. I then collaborate with the patient to develop a personalized treatment plan, which may include therapy, lifestyle changes, support resources, and / or medication management. Throughout the treatment process, I provide continuous monitoring, education, and encouragement, ensuring that you feel supported and empowered on your journey to better mental health. My comprehensive approach aims to address both the psychological and physical aspects of mental health, promoting overall well-being.
